The Contract Agreement for the Contract Package KHM (Hydro-Mechanical Works), titled “Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Hydro-Mechanical Works of the 4x150MW Khorlochhu Hydropower Project, Trashiyangtse,” was signed on June 02, 2026, between Khorlochhu Hydro Power Limited (KHPL) and M/s PES Engineers Private Limited, India. The scope of work covers the complete design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of hydro-mechanical gates, including the supply, fabrication, and erection of steel liner works. The design of the pressure shaft steel liners, however, remains within the Employer’s scope. The signing of this Contract Agreement marks a major milestone and a significant step forward in the development of the 4x150MW Khorlochhu Hydropower Project, which is being implemented under a strategic partnership between DGPC and Tata Power Company Ltd., India.
